Meet Terris Todd, Todd is a candidate for Virginia's 7th Congressional District. The current representative Abigail Spanberger is not seeking re-election. Todd has a long background in politics and education. Todd was a five-term County Commissioner, Civil Service Commissioner, and the Vice Chairman of the Michigan Republican party. Todd was then appointed by the White House to the Department of Education under Former President Donald Trump and moved to Virginia. Todd has been a teacher and former principal. If elected to Congress the main issues Todd will fight for are a secure border, the economy, education, parental rights, and addressing crime. Since Spanberger is not seeking reelection VA-07 has a heavily Republican-dominated candidate field with six other Republican candidates vying for the party’s nomination compared to four Democratic candidates. VA-07 will be the most competitive district in the Commonwealth heading into the General Election in November.

If elected to Congress, Kaul hopes to focus on education, healthcare, public safety, and promoting minority-owned small businesses. Kaul is not a politician; Kaul wants to bring a fresh new perspective to Congress. Kaul is joined by a large democratic field for the party’s nomination. Meet Mark Leighton, Leighton is a candidate for Virginia's 10th Congressional District. Rep. Jennifer Wexton has recently announced her decision not to seek re-election, citing health reasons related to her rare form of Parkinson's Disease. Leighton became involved in politics when was a senior in college. Leighton graduated law school from Georgetown University in 2004 and he interned for New York Senator Chuck Schumer's campaign in 1988. He knocked on doors for Hillary Clinton in 2016 and Joe Biden in 2020. If he gets elected to Congress his main priorities are healthcare, college tuition, and lowering gas prices.
